We took engagement photos of Erica and Maurice on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. They both attended the school and met there. It is a beautiful campus with tons of great spots for photos and perfect light coming through the trees. They are currently living in different parts of the country for work and school. It was really sweet to see them together since they have been apart for a while. They are a great couple and we wish them the best.

I want to share a few images of Mary Catherine and Philip's guest book. They are getting married this Sunday on Bald Head Island. The guest book is a beautiful custom book. You choose 8 images from your engagement session. One side of the page is the full color image and the other is a transparent image where your guest's sign the book. It is a really fun way to showcase your engagement photos and it is a keepsake that you will want to look at much more often over a traditional guest book!

We took Jodi and Lee's engagement photos at Topsail Beach where they will marry next May. They are such a cool couple. Their great outfits, colorful and fun, match their personalities perfectly. We love when people aren't scared to wear color. As an added bonus they brought their cute puppy along, dressed for the occasion of course.

We took Leah and Brad's pictures at the rose gardens at Raleigh Little Theatre. What a beautiful location. It looks just magical when all the roses are in bloom. The couple has two pugs that we are secretly hoping make an appearance on the wedding day.... well I guess it's not such a secret. They would look so cute with some little flower garlands around their necks. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Here are the engagement photos of Melissa and Chuck. What a great couple. Melissa has always dreamed of getting married on Bald Head Island. Her family vacations there every year. They plan to marry in May. We took the opportunity to shoot their engagement photos while they were in town on their family vacation this year since they live out of state. They both work for PPD so they are in Wilmington frequently as well. I love her style. She wore this cool printed dress that really shows her personality. She also skipped the traditional engagement ring for a set of Tiffany bands that are to die for. There will be pictures taken of those at the wedding.

We had the pleasure of shooting Megan and Walter's engagement photos this July. They are getting married this October at the Temple Garden in Landfall. If you are thinking that she looks familiar, you're right. She's a model for Reedee, a designer clothing store on Military Cutoff Rd. Their ad is featured in each months magazine of Focus On The Coast.

We had a lot of fun taking engagement photos of Nina and Will. They had some really fun ideas for their photos. Will is a drummer and it was fun to add some musical references to their photos. They were very cute together, very in love and very relaxed in front of the camera. A photographers dream!

Super adorable couple, Sara Jane and Heath, asked me to take their engagement photos on Wrightsville Beach. They live in Raleigh and are going home to Missouri to get married, so I had the privilege of taking their engagement photos for them! It was a really unusual day at the beach- there was absolutely no wind. We usually have the opposite problem! The down side to no wind is the bugs bite you! They did a great job being natural and cute together in front of the camera- despite the bitting bugs!
